Relationship to St. Brigid

St. Brigid Knights of Columbus Council #10863 is a vital part of our parish. Our membership consists of current and former parishioners. Membership in the Knights of Columbus is the best way for a Catholic man to grow in the faith, protect his family and help the Church and society. Our Knights council is the largest service organization in the parish and leads or supports many activities in the parish. Our Knights council sponsors pancake breakfasts, the annual Easter Egg Hunt, the Father Daughter Dance, gives financial support to our Youth Group,  and lends a hand wherever we are needed. During the renovation of our church, the Knights spearheaded the setting up and taking down of chairs for weekend Masses in the gym, every week for the duration of the renovation. During our parish's 25th anniversary celebration, our council Knights fed over 1500 people.

St. Brigid is a large parish, and for newcomers--or even those who have been here a while--getting involved can be sometimes a daunting task. For the men of the parish, joining the Knights is a great way to get to know other men in the parish, work together for the good of the parish, and grow spiritually too. Sometimes, we can’t accomplish alone what God has called to do. That is one reason why we need the Church. And that is why we, as faithful members of the Church, need the Knights of Columbus. Membership in the Knights can bring out the best in all of us, young and old alike.
