The Columbus Diocese of the Knights of Columbus has an opportunity to promote our Catholic interests by helping the Women’s Care Center at 935 E. Broad St, Columbus, OH 43205.
The Women’s Care Center needs to renovate the third floor to offer more childcare for its 6 parenting classes during the week.
To do that, volunteers are needed to move semi-heavy objects and climb steps to the third floor, paint, repair spots of ceilings and paint, change light fixtures, assemble new rooms with clothing bins and shelving, and assemble a new childcare room with toys, paintings, etc
Work is scheduled to begin Saturday morning, March 23. Subsequent Saturdays are April 6 and April 13.
12 Knights are needed for each Saturday.
